Privacy Policy

Your wedding memories are personal. Here's exactly what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and an encrypted password. For each event you create, we store the partner names, date, venue, and welcome message you provide. When guests upload content, we store the photos and videos along with optional name and note fields they choose to add.

2. How We Use Your Data

Display your event gallery to you and your guests.
Send you transactional emails (sign-in, payment receipts, plan updates).
Enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
Improve the service based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns.

We never sell your data. We never use your photos to train AI models.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Azerbaijan's licensed payment gateway. We never see or store your card number. We only receive a payment confirmation and transaction reference.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

Uploaded photos and videos are kept for the duration of your plan's access window (7 days on Free, 14 days on Plus, 30 days on Pro, or longer if you purchase a retention extension). Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

6. Your Rights

These rights are guaranteed under the Republic of Azerbaijan's Law on Personal Information.

Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction — update any inaccurate information.
Deletion — ask us to remove your account and all associated media.
Portability — download your full album as a ZIP at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@eventshots.art or write to us via our contact page. We respond within 30 calendar days.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Connections are encrypted with TLS. Payment callbacks are verified with constant-time signature comparison. We follow the principle of least privilege across our infrastructure.
